OSRE3 was developed with Java. Please note that you must have the .Java install on  your computer in order to use OSRE3. Java is free and can be dowloaded at:

 

 Follow the instructions given at the above website in order to install Java. You only have to download it and install it once, and then you can run any program written in Java.

In order to run OSRE3, after you install Java, just double-click on OSRE3.jar to run the program.

OSRE2 was developed with Microsoft VB .NET 2005. Please note that you must have the .NET Framework installed on your computer in order to use OSRE2. The Microsoft .NET Framework is responsible for running programs developed in .NET. If you are running Windows XP SP2, the Microsoft.NET Framework was most probably installed along with SP2. To check if it is already installed on your system, go to “Control Panel \ Add & Remove Programs” and see if it's listed there. If it is not, click the link below to download it from Microsoft (FREE),

 

and follow the instructions given there. You only have to download it and install it once, and then you can run any program written in VB.NET.

In order to run OSRE2 unzip the contents of the zip file somewhere on your hard drive and double-click on OSRE2.exe to run the program.
